4/23/11 movie time

After getting keyed up by my yesterday’s choice of movies, action/suspense and thriller, I decided to treat myself for love stories this time, something that would make my heart pound and fall in love.

So I scanned my drive C if there are still movies I copied from office I haven’t watch, there are still more and I thought Before You Say I Do was a good pick. At first, I didn’t find it appealing. But I gave the film a chance and finished it. It was okay but I really can’t say it would be tattooed in my mind. It’s a story of a guy who proposed marriage to his girlfriend. Unfortunately, Jane wouldn’t take it; her first marriage was a failure. George met an accident, that was after he wished he could go back 10 years before Jane got married. And it was granted.

Next movie just tickled my heart. A Korean romantic comedy, Lost and Found. After I got delighted with Windstruck, Sassy Girl, and A moment to Remember , I been so hooked with such sorts. Though the story is typical, still I had a great time watching it. It’s all about a girl who’s actually secretly madly inlove with the same guy for ten years… but he never noticed her until one day when she bumped into his car. On the other hand, a childhood friend of the girl also confessed his love to her. O, I’m really bad in narrating, just watch it, I recommend this.

The other two Asian movies I’ve watch today was so annoying I was not able to finish it. The story sucks!

Good night!

4/22/11 movie time

3 movies this day almost drained my eyes now and I still want more but unfortunately dreamland is inviting me. So, this is how I'm spending my holidays. I got nowhere to go anyway.

Seasons of the Witch-this supernatural thriller just awaken my dull day. Nothing really unusual but somehow it saved me from dreariness.

Kung Fu Chefs-At first I didn’t recognize Vaness Wu of F4 who is actually playing a big role on this movie, and he’s somewhat different there, from a pacute and arrogant character I’ve known of him, he’s a bit comical with this one.  And what I love in this movie Is the cooking strategies though I believe is quite impossible!.. But for entertainment sake, this movie is at least doing its part. For a short moment, I dreamed of me loving the cookery thing..

Battle: Los Angeles- it’s my favorite among the three. Though it’s just another Independence Day, Armageddon, Skyline and other Alien conquering the Earth related movies, I found it out of the ordinary. I just love the attitude  of the brave soldiers in there. But I hope that incident-- alien invasion, would stay imaginary coz that would be extremely terrifying….  okay lang kung friendly sila.

I AM NUMBER 4

The second movie for this day that I watched..

You might be concluding now that I am really in to this kind of movies, those with actions, power powers, sometime to some are childish. Well, at first i thought it's a bit corny and of course unrealistic... duh, what would i expect, its fictional.

it's actually a story of an alien, John Smith (but hey looked  just like humans, a cute human, haha) being chased by another race of aliens... i'm sorry i'm a bit sleepy for story telling, just watch it for yourself ..

and that Sarah girl, i like what she's doing.. photograhing anyone she would love to take  pictures of... and post it on her website she named "strangers at paradise" (if i remember it well, but it sounds like that)... i would love to do that too...

Good night for now!

RED CLIFF

Just finished watching a Chinese epic war film--the RED CLIFF.. it was great i guess.

But maybe not everyone would find it entertaining especially for those who don't really appreciate movies like this.

What really amazed me are those tactics and formations portrayed on the movie..the wit and the martial motion of the cast are breathtaking!  it's like watching a cheer dance! yeah!

The movie also reminded me of the person I am inlove with, my Bidam of Queen Seon Deok , he resembles one of the character.. aren't they?

..and the circle formation... i saw that one too at QSD.

And this scenery is so magnificent aside from the bloody battlefield .

4/21/11

Who says I couldn’t beat boredom??  I love holidays but the world-weariness is bringing me to the edge of my sanity… hahaha… but  honestly, I love boredom too sometimes, you know, having time for yourself alone, thinking, reminiscing, reflecting and whatever it takes.

I could have regret for not getting home at this point of time, so to get rid of those thoughts, I need to do something productive. So I just had finished cleaning my room, o, the dust almost drowned me.. haha…  this room could be nominated for the most messy room in the world.. haha.. ang tamad ko kasing maglinis at busy rin sa work that I got so exhausted to do the household chores… so to give justice on the holidays, maglilinis ako!

That’s it… so, maybe I could watch movie na this time…

TSUNAMI movie

such a fluke that this movie aired on cinemas after the catastrophic quake that resulted a tsunami in Japan.. though the trailer went out even before the incident.

well, i've read somewhere that showing of this movie in japan was stopped, ofcourse I agree that they must... I'm sure that some of the residents there are  not recovering yet.

But anyway, I just finished watching it... I can't really say that's a good one, i'm not an excellent commentator... but if only i got two choices beween nice and not, then i'll vote for nice!

but there were some moments I found it boring and not realistic----but what had recently hit Japan is actually unbelievable but the true to life videos petrified the whole world, so that means, what I just said not realistic can come to reality...

and those parting moments of the cast broke my heart...it made me cry, i dont know why I got so emotional... the story of the lifeguard who sacrificed his own life cuts my heart the most.. haha

So much for this, I must be sleeping...

Good night people!
